Between Two Worlds II

2026 · Oil on canvas · 100 × 80 cm · Invisible Imprisonments · Available

The angel’s facial features recede into the background. Its presence is conveyed by its wings and posture — a presence that seems intended to offer care, yet cannot reach people. The angel does not grieve over lost importance or having become useless. In the artist’s interpretation, it grieves for people who have lost the connection it could offer. It experiences their loneliness. Help cannot be forced upon someone. Even the closest presence can go unnoticed, and the most sincere care can be refused. Yet the angel keeps waiting.
